I started working at Permarock in April 2014, working in the factory preparing and packing our dry powder renders ready for delivery to our customers site Following this role, I moved into the warehouse preparing all our system components and loading the lorries with all the materials to be delivered to site. The role also involved creating samples of our rendered products to be sent out to specifiers/clients/architects etc. for them to pick/approve a decorative finish for their specific projects.
After 2 years in this role, I moved into the role of technical services assistant which involved site visits to view our systems being installed and offer technical advice, inspect and ensure that all our systems are installed as per specification.
Progressing through the technical services department, I am currently the senior system technician in the department and continue to carry out tasks as before, however I now also manage the diaries for our technicians to ensure that all projects are receiving technical assistance through the install of our systems. I also now oversee training sessions and demonstrations of installing our External Wall Insulation systems and finishes within our dedicated training rooms at our Permarock offices and onsite.
